I’ve decided to use this page to provide background notes about the story in general and individual chapters in particular. At least for the first part of this story I’ve included a number of events that are true, or close to it, and I thought it might be nice to point them out when they occur. There are also certain changes made to Toronto that inhabitants of the city, or those very familiar with it, might notice, and I’d like to make clear that they are purposeful and not simply mistakes.
